Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have become a laughing stock after they made an appearance on the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. Bollywood’s IT couple has become a hot topic of discussion after they had a small argument in the recently released episode and it has even led to a few netizens terming them as one of the most overrated couple in the industry. 

The issue sparked from Deepika’s statement, wherein she claimed that she was not initially very keen on a “committed” relationship with her now husband Ranveer. 

Interestingly, moments after Deepika made the statement, at that exact moment camera focused on Ranveer Singh’s reaction, and from the looks of it he appeared angry and was about to burst into tears. It all escalated after Karan asked Ranveer and Deepika if there was any point where they discussed that they were finally in a relationship. The actor reacted to the same and said, “We would go out on dates. It’s not really said but once you take a holiday together and spend New Year together then it gets established that you are together. There were two or three suitors in the first six months. A lot of guys were courting here.”

“Who were these suitors? Even I didn’t know,” Deepika asked Ranveer. To which, a visibly annoyed Ranveer said, “Abhi toh tumne bola I was seeing other people but I would go back to him. Tumko ab yaad nahi aa raha hai?” 



“I can’t remember the people,” Deepika responded. “I remember very clearly,” Ranveer said.

Well, the entire incident went viral on the internet and it sparked a meme fest amongst the netizens and people can’t stop laughing. Many were left curious if the couple were in a “situationship.” One user wrote, “Ranveer was pissed! The way he said ‘Very Clearly’… Dudes hurt and pissed!! Another one commented, “That stare lol. Notice how on being inquired, Deepika subconsciously tickles her nose- there’s your lie spotted.”

In the recently released episode, Ranveer Singh also revealed that he proposed marriage to Deepika Padukone right after the release of Ram-Leela, which became a huge success. The actor said that within six months of dating, he knew Deepika was the one for him.
